At least it puts the land directly onto the battlefield, though
There are so many favorites for so many different reasons, but if I had to choose one it would be Scrabbling Skullcrab by John Tedrick
Its conditional, often based on whether opponents have more lands than you do, and wont work if youre ahead of them in that regard
